Q. How do I know whether my Pocket Watch is mechanical or battery powered?

A. It will say in the product description if your watch is battery powered or mechanical. Alternatively, all of the battery powered watches have 'Quartz' written on the watch face, the mechanical watches do not.

Q. Why does my watch keep stopping?

A. If you have a mechanical watch then these need winding up every 24-48 hours to keep working, failing to do so means they will stop until they are next wound up. If you have a battery powered watch then it is likely to need a new battery. Q. How do I set the time on my pocket watch?

A. You need to pull the crown out for on click at the top of the pocket watch, then you can turn the crown and you will see the hands start to move, it is recommended that you just turn the hands clockwise to set the time as this is better for the mechanism. Q. How to I wind my mechanical pocket watch?

A. For this the crown should be fully pressed down on the watch, then holding the watch facing you, you turn the winder to the left, after about 30-40 half turns you will feel resistance and then the crown won't wind anymore. Q. You are out of stock on the watch I want, how long until you get new stock?

A. At times we will unfortunately run out of stock but we aim to have any stock replenished in a coupe of weeks. If you would like a watch quicker for a specific date then contact us and we will do our best to help you.

Q. When should I expect delivery of my watch?

A. We aim to post everything on either the same day or next working day, this means you should receive your order within 3-5 working days, for more information can be found here

Q. Can my pocket watch be engraved?

A. Some, but not all, of our pocket watches can be engraved with a personal message. We can source this for you at a cost of £10 per watch and delivery will take a little longer 10-14 days. Please contact us directly with any special requirements.

Q. I am not happy with my watch, can i get a refund?

A. We only offer full refunds on faulty or damaged goods, if you receive a faulty or damaged watch then please contact us straight away for either a full refund or a new watch. If you have changed your mind on a watch or are not happy with your purchase please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss this further with you
